The hope also tires
The feeling of hope moves us forward, brings energy and motivation to keep going.
As always, when I am studying or writing, looking at the word in the dictionary brings me some insights. I strongly recommend you do the same 😉
According to the dictionary, hope is a feeling of expectation and desire. It is also recognized as a feeling of trust, when people expect, anticipate our wait for something and it brings them peace. The opposite of lack of hope is not an empty desire. Actually it is a despair of that.
Hope is a kind of fuel for our lives, something that gives us a sense of purpose. When combined with actions and plans, it guides us to the goal.
But just for today, I have no hope anymore. It doesn’t mean that I am going to give up or even lose myself. I just don’t want the pain of not achieving my dream. It sounds sad, but trust me, all these feelings made sense after I wrote this article.
I believe the feeling of hope is vital and being willing to fight for your dreams is the way. But sometimes, if even after your efforts, it still brings you pain, it is necessary to turn it into a new perspective by changing your plans.
So, instead of denying the hope, I propose to myself to just change it. For today and all other days, I ask for wisdom to be aware when I should stop and look for new perspectives.
As my friend told me last week, we might seem negative by our words or attitude, while looking at the glass half empty sometimes, but we never drop the ball!
But just for today, the hope also tires.

Like you say…wisdom is in recognizing the point where we must accept that hope for certain something is futile! Then the time comes to change the direction of your Hope!

Tudo bem olhar “o copo meio vazio” agora.
Logo ele estará “meio cheio”. Cansa esse exercício, mas a fé fortalece.
Vai ficar tudo bem.

Well written and graciously vulnerable. Not easy to lose or need to change our hope. Love you and big hugs..

I do so agree. Without Hope we have Nothing.
All the Best.
