Pet peeve

What comes to your mind when you hear the English expression “pet peeve”? For me at the first moment, it sounds like something related to pets, like training pads. LOL😆

In fact, it is an expression that means something that really bothers you. For example: “Weak coffee is one of my pet peeves”.

Let’s check some pet peeves:

• Slow internet is one of my pet peeves.
• People who talk really loud…
• People who walk really slow…
• People who chew with their mouth open…
• People walking or driving close behind me…
• People who don’t give up seat for elderly, pregnant or people with a disability…
• People who cut the line…
• People who drive and don’t use turn signals, especially in roundabouts…
• Public transportation delays…
• When you can’t skip an ad on Youtube…
• When someone asks you questions when you are trying to watch a film…
• When you can’t find the other pair of socks…
• When someone asks you a question they could have just googled. (I recognized that sometimes I do it 😬. Being aware of it, made me change my behaviour). 

I’ve heard that as we get older our list of pet peeves just gets bigger. Writing this post made me realize that my pet peeves list is getting long. 😆
