Charisma

Being an English learner brought me more than just a new language, it showed me how to be more polite and charismatic through words and practice small talks.

Small talk is the ability of making meaningful connections, engaging and identifying characteristics in common with another person. It has always been a challenge to me, but I just recognized it when I started speaking English.

As you may know, there are four main language skills – reading, writing, listening and speaking. Nowadays my efforts are leaning towards speaking, spending time searching about it and for sure, speaking!

Writing in English showed me how hard it is to express my feelings and ideas. At the same time, I realized how powerful it is. Although body language is as important as words, words have their eternized power. Actually one can’t walk without another, words and body are the symphony of love.

Those who think charisma is practiced just with family or friends are deceived. It is a high-quality characteristic of leaders and persuasive people. Unfortunately it could be used for good and bad intentions. Human history has some examples of that.

Meanwhile I am developing different ways to express myself, creating new connections and being myself. Therefore if you talk to me, I am going to practice some kind words and for sure I will smize to you 🙂

I guess I finally got what my English teacher has always said to me about learning a new language!
